Militia, MD under Captain Hezekiah Garner signed Oath Of Allegiance, Charles Co., Md Born Circa 1739 in Charles Co., MD Died on January 12, 1838 in Anderson Co., SC Buried in this cemetery, actual burial site unknown marker placed by major John Bowie Chapter, DAR There are no documents to verify that he is actaully under the rock. It has been passed down through generations that this is where he is buried. Francis Clinkscales owned the property at the time of his death and family cemeteries were on the property.
